    Cookie Policy

    This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Romanian version prevails.

    This policy explains how Recrutio ("we") uses cookies and similar technologies on the recrutio.ro website, in accordance with Law 506/2004, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive.

    1. What are cookies?

    Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (sign-in, language, other settings) for a set period of time.

    2. Types of cookies we use

    • Strictly necessary – for authentication, session, security (CSRF) and saving your language preference. Without them the platform cannot work. They do not require consent.
    • Functional – remember your choices (e.g. selected language, display mode).
    • Analytics – PostHog, to understand how the platform is used and to improve it. The data is aggregated and pseudonymised.

    3. Storage period

    Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies last between 24 hours and 12 months, depending on their purpose.

    4. How you can control cookies

    You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will affect how the platform works (sign-in and security).

    5. Third parties

    We use providers for hosting, authentication, security and analytics of public pages. Analytics data is masked and pseudonymised. We do not record sessions on pages that contain recruitment data, reports or administrative information.
