Recrutio

What Recrutio is and how it assesses high candidate volumes

Recrutio is a recruitment platform for companies that receive more CVs than they can read. It assesses every candidate against the same role requirements, explains the score, organises the process in stages and provides monthly reports for leadership. Data is hosted in the EU (Dublin) and nothing is rejected automatically: in line with the EU AI Act, the decision stays with the recruiter.

More candidates assessed. More roles filled. Without growing your recruitment team.

How does a CV score work?

Before the first CV arrives, the role gets a scoring matrix: skills, experience and must-have criteria, weighted by importance. Every candidate is compared with the same matrix, not with the candidates who came before.

The recruiter sees a score and, more importantly, the reasoning behind it: which criteria are met, what is missing and where the CV and the job description diverge. The score sets the reading order: strong applications come first and weak ones no longer take up the team's time. If a score looks unjustified, the recruiter can see the basis for it and correct the conclusion about the candidate; changes to the matrix are agreed during setup, together with the Recrutio team.

The full details, including how the matrix is built and how the score is calculated, are on the methodology page.

What does the AI video interview look like?

Recrutio starts from the role requirements and generates technical and behavioural questions pitched at the right level. Candidates record their answers at a time that suits them, with no scheduling and no recruiter present.

Once the interview is complete, the recruiter receives the recording, transcript and an analysis of the answers: what the candidate covered, what they left out and how the answers relate to the job requirements. When a candidate touches on a relevant topic, the system asks follow-up questions on it, so answers are specific rather than generic.

The analysis looks only at what candidates say, never at facial expressions, gestures or emotions. For your team, this means you can assess candidates for roles outside your own expertise, with questions that carry the weight of a real interview.

See concrete examples in our article how Recrutio generates interview questions (in Romanian).

    Which reports does leadership receive?

Four ready-made reports, each for a different reader: the monthly report for leadership, the position report, the team report and the sources and budget report. Sections, columns and labels are configured around the way your company runs recruitment.

Each report has a complete sample with fictional data that you can download below, with no form and no email required. You see exactly what leadership receives at month end before committing to a demo.

    Does Recrutio make automated decisions?

No. The score and analysis prepare the decision; they never make it in the recruiter's place. Recrutio does not reject candidates automatically and does not confirm hires without human involvement.

Every advance, rejection or hire is made by an identified person, and the operation is recorded in the access log. If a score looks unjustified, the recruiter sees the reasoning behind it and can decide otherwise, with no consequence for the process. Volume is processed quickly, but accountability stays with people. That matters for decision quality and for GDPR and EU AI Act compliance, because decisions affecting candidates are never made solely by automated means.

    Which companies is it for?

Recrutio fits companies with an in-house recruitment team, roles open all year round and dozens or hundreds of candidates to assess and track. It makes sense when volume exceeds the team's capacity to read and respond to every candidate, and leadership regularly asks for a clear report on recruitment. Integrations with Romania's leading job platforms are available for teams hiring in Romania.

It is not a fit for companies that hire occasionally and receive few CVs. In that case the platform does not justify its cost, and we say so plainly in the first conversation.

    What Recrutio does not do

    • It does not source people or deliver candidates. Recrutio works with the applications your company receives through its own channels.
    • It is not a recruitment agency. We don't run interviews or replace your recruitment team.
    • It does not decide who is hired or rejected. The score sets the reading order. Every advance or rejection belongs to an identified recruiter.
    • It does not analyse facial expressions, gestures or emotions. Video interviews are analysed on the content of the answers, measured against the role requirements.

    How much does it cost?

Pricing is set for each company after reviewing its recruitment volume, team and way of working. The licence includes every module: the scoring matrix, the AI-assisted video interview, the pipeline and the reports for leadership. There are no add-on modules or hidden costs for switching on a feature.

The structure of the agreement is flexible, so the solution matches the real pace of your recruitment. See how we put an offer together on the pricing page.
