Time goes on unsuitable applications
Every CV read from top to bottom costs minutes that never go back to the candidates who actually fit the role.
CV screening
Every CV is compared with the role's requirements and receives a score with its reasoning. Reading order follows fit, not arrival time. The decision stays with the recruiter, in line with the EU AI Act.
The problem
When a role attracts dozens or hundreds of applications, the first hours of triage decide who gets read carefully. The rest join a queue the team never works through in the same way, and the best candidates accept offers elsewhere before their turn comes.
Every CV read from top to bottom costs minutes that never go back to the candidates who actually fit the role.
Roles pile up, and every new application has to land somewhere: seen, shortlisted or dropped without a record.
A few days later nobody can say why a candidate was set aside, and the month-end report has to be rebuilt by hand.
How it works
Three stages, in the same order, for every open role.
01
The job requirements become weighted criteria: skills, experience, responsibilities and the role's must-haves. The matrix is set once, during setup, before the first CV arrives.
02
Every candidate is compared with the same matrix, not with the candidate before them. The recruiter sees the score, which criteria are met, what is missing and where the CV differs from the job description.
03
The score sets the reading order. Advancing, rejecting and hiring are done by an identified recruiter, and every operation is recorded in the access log.
Details on how the matrix is built and how the score is calculated are on the methodology page.
The recruiter's screen
Applications appear in a list ordered by score. Each card shows the score, the criteria covered and what is missing, so the decision to advance can be made without re-reading the CV from scratch.

What screening does not do
Recrutio does not reject candidates automatically and does not send rejection messages. The score sets the reading order; every advance, rejection or hire is made by an identified person.
If a score looks unjustified, the recruiter sees the basis for it and can decide otherwise, with no consequence for the process. Volume is processed quickly, but accountability stays with people.
Sources
CVs arrive from job boards, LinkedIn or email, or are uploaded manually by the recruitment team. Whatever the source, every candidate is assessed against the same role matrix and enters the same list.
